Volvo has announced that it has received from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the final confirmation on a loan of 400 million euro. European funds, which must be returned within seven years, will help the Swedish company to maintain current employment levels at home and investments.

We could see a thinly veiled concept appear at this year's Tokyo Motor Show, but the production model isn't expected to be unveiled until next year.

You meant the MG6 Concept -- MG Rover died several years ago and SAIC/NAC has no rights to the Rover name, hence them inventing Roewe. I think the Rover name is owned by Ford, although there is a chane it was sold to Tata with JLR.

Although virtually no information exists on the upcoming concept, there is speculation that the N1 is essentially a Roewe version of the MG Rover MG6 Concept (both brands are owned by the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) which will also debut at the show. If the speculation turns out to be correct, the N1 will most likely be based off the Roewe 550 and feature a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.8-liter petrol engine.
